Who are we as Presbyterians?
PresbyUSA.jpg - 158kb We are a congregation of the Presbytery of Pueblo, Presbyterian Church (USA). Presbyterians trace our heritage to John Calvin and the Protestant Reformation, emphasizing the sovereignty of God, salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, life as a covenant people by the power of the Holy Spirit, and a calling to serve as part of Christ’s body in the world, spreading the good news of Jesus Christ in word and deed as we make disciples and work for the transformation of society that God’s will may be done on earth as in heaven.

Who are we as a congregation?
Our congregation was formed by a merger between the First Presbyterian Church (Anglo) and Emmanuel Presbyterian Church (Hispanic). Phoebe&Nancy.jpg - 379kb We are currently an ageing congregation with a heart for ministry to college students and an active desire to grow in service and in faith. In the midst of the lively present, we are poised between past and future, and in the coming year we will be developing our vision for that future.
Come add your vision to ours!
What’s going on here?
Bed_onFloor.jpg - 335kb We host many work groups from La Puente and Habitat for Humanity here – in October one of those groups will be building BUNK BEDS for future groups to use. This fall we welcome the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship who will be meeting in our building. In October we will be hosting a community-wide Bereavement and Grief workshop. We’re always looking for other groups who might find shelter here.

Pick up a calendar and a newsletter or two to get the flavor of our activities.

Do you have a home here?
If you are a Presbyterian or a Christian intrigued by the Presbyterian perspective, we welcome you.
If you are a seeker, with questions about the meaning of “life, the universe and everything,” we welcome you.
If you are looking for a place to serve, we welcome you.
If you are looking for support in developing a ministry or a study or fellowship group, we welcome you.
If you are a musician and looking for a place to sing or play, we welcome you.
If you are looking for a supportive “home away from home” or if you need someone to talk to, we welcome you.
